We’re looking for TGS alumni and specialists from a wide range of disciplines to share their expertise with our students. Learn more below about becoming a project mentor below.
Why become a project mentor?
Starting in 2017, THINK Global School began educating students via its innovative Changemaker Curriculum, which introduced project-based learning into the fold. Now, in each of the four countries we visit each school year, students can truly blend their travel experiences with their education by participating in projects relevant to their location and personal interests.
This is where you come in: We’re looking for alums and industry experts to share their expertise with our students. In doing so, you or someone you nominate can help us make student project content as information-dense and pertinent as possible.
An added benefit: We also aim for this to be a way to build up the TGS community by introducing current students to the alumni that preceded them.
What will I do as a project mentor?
Meet with the student for 1-2 hours per month at the student’s request.
Guide the student through their project ideas, feasibility, and skillbuilding, provide resources and feedback, and even gauge their success.
Maintain a professional relationship and incorporate the student’s educator in conversations.
